There are a range of dermal fillers, each with their own unique properties lasting from 9-18 months. Depending on the area being treated and your individual needs we will select the best one for you.

All of the dermal fillers we use at Enhance Clinics are market-leading, non-allergenic formulations of hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring sugar-derived compound found in the skin making it suitable for everyone. No skin tests are needed before treatment. We do not use any animal or human derived collagen in our clinics.

How do dermal fillers work?

Dermal fillers physically support the skin directly under the line or fold. Our fillers are a natural substitute for the hyaluronic acid that you lose as you age. The result is instant and gives you a long lasting and natural enhancement. Injected into problem areas, fillers are a very versatile anti-ageing solution that can be used to plump up and gently lift your lines and creases. They are particularly useful to correct loss of facial volume, provide lift and improve your facial contours.

Dermal fillers are often used in combination with anti-wrinkle injection treatments.

Your comfort is of the utmost importance to us, so we offer dermal fillers with local anaesthetic built-in. You will feel very little, however if you would like the treatment area numbed before we start then an anaesthetic cream or a local anaesthesia can be administered at no extra charge.

• Don’t apply make up for 12 hours unless mineral powder based
• Don’t drink anything too hot or cold (if you have had a lip treatment)
• Mild swelling, bruising and redness in injection sites is normal
• Use perfume free moisturiser if you have any dry skin
• Call your Doctor if you have any concerns

Is there anything I need to do/ or should be aware of before I have the treatment?

We advise that you avoid using aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs a couple of days before your treatment (unless they are taken for a chronic medical condition). Avoiding these medications will reduce your risk of bruising at the point of injection
